Grid Learning Pathway introduces the key features of Grid software, symbol and text communication, how to edit grid sets and Grid settings. This course also covers key strategies to being an effective AAC communication partner for AAC users. 

This course is perfect for beginners or anyone who wants to refresh their skills in Grid.

Learner outcomes

By the end of the course, participants will be able to:

• Be familiar with using the Grid software interface.
• Understand symbol and text grid sets.
• Be able to edit and personalise grid sets.
• Understand and implement strategies to support AAC development.

Completion requirements: You must complete all course content including reading all text and watching all video content. This course is assessed via a multiple-choice, five-question knowledge check at the end of the course. The pass score is 80%. You can take the knowledge check multiple times.
