Description
Accessible Apps in Grid provide access to the digital world. This course is designed for anyone using Grid or Grid for iPad and wants to learn how the software can support an individual wanting to do more.
Explore alternative ways to use the apps from within an AAC grid set, as a standalone grid set and learn how to personalise them to suit an individual’s needs.
This course is an intermediate course and requires some prior knowledge and understanding of Grid 3 or Grid for iPad.

Learner outcomes
By the end of the course, participants will be able to:
• Confidently edit and personalise accessible apps to suit an individual’s needs and personal preferences.
• Use accessible apps from within AAC grid sets or as a standalone grid set.
• Support an AAC user to have independence in using accessible apps to access the digital world.
Completion requirements: You must complete all course content including reading all text and watching all video content. This course is assessed via a multiple-choice, five-question knowledge check at the end of the course. The pass score is 80%. You can take the knowledge check multiple times.
