Description

For anyone wanting to know how to make the most of the eye gaze features and settings in Grid, this course will develop your knowledge and understanding in five lessons. You will explore the cameras that are available in Grid, how to adapt grid sets to make them more accessible and discover ideas for developing eye gaze skills.

If you are new to using eye gaze, we recommend that you complete the Eye Gaze Basics course before Eye Gaze in Grid.

By the end of the course, you will be familiar with making Grid more accessible for an eye gaze user. You will gain an understanding of the cameras available in Grid.
This course is an intermediate course, designed for someone with a basic understanding of eye gaze.

Learn how to get the most out of eye gaze features in Grid in 5 lessons:

1. Eye gaze cameras in Grid
2. Eye gaze settings in Grid
3. Eye gaze commands in Grid
4. Finding and adapting grid sets
5. Setting foundations for success

Learner outcomes

By the end of the course, participants will be able to:

• Identify two eye gaze cameras in Grid.

• Describe how to add an eye gaze monitor to a grid.

• Demonstrate how to search and download the Accuracy grid set from Online Grids.

Completion requirements: You must complete all course content including reading all text and watching all video content. This course is assessed via a multiple-choice, five-question knowledge check at the end of the course. The pass score is 80%. You can take the knowledge check multiple times.

This course is available for ASHA CEUs from 1st January 2025. Any learner who completed the course before this date cannot earn ASHA CEUs. This course provides an opportunity to earn 0.1 ASHA CEUs
